A set of hinged folding screens in black-titanium PVD stainless, used to divide a private dining space while keeping a dark, refined backdrop.
Project overview
The client needed a flexible divider that could open the room for large events or close it into intimate zones. The screens combine a black-titanium stainless frame with a patterned infill, folding on concealed hinges so the room configuration can change in minutes.
The challenge
Folding screens must hang straight and hinge smoothly across tall panels without racking, and the black finish had to stay consistent across frames, hinges and infill without showing fingerprints or wear at the joints.
Our solution
The frames were built from rigid box section with welded corner braces to keep each panel flat. Heavy-duty concealed pivots carry the weight at the top and bottom, and the complete set — including hardware — was PVD coated in black titanium so every moving part matched.
